I’m excited to once again be participating in Scott Hamilton CARES Sk8 to Eliminate Cancer!

Over the past few years, with the amazing support of my family, friends, and community, I have raised more than $8,000 for cancer research. I am so proud of what we have accomplished together, and each year I hope to raise even more and continue making a difference.

This year, I am skating and fundraising in memory of two very special people and in honor of one very brave little girl.

❤️ My Auntie Cristin was my mom’s best friend since childhood and became an honorary auntie to me. We lost her to triple-negative breast cancer in 2022, and I skate in her memory.

🐄 My Grandpa D was a big part of my agricultural roots and my love for animals and dairy cows. We lost him to cancer in 2020, and I carry that connection with me through something I love so much.

🎗️ My friend Joy is an amazing five-year-old who bravely fought leukemia. Today, she is cancer-free and living her best life! I skate in her honor and to celebrate kids like Joy who get to grow up, play, dream, and do all the things they love.

Cancer has touched my family and people I love in very different ways. That’s why this fundraiser means so much to me. I want to keep raising more each year to help support cancer research and give more families the chance to celebrate stories like Joy’s.
