This fundraiser is especially meaningful to me because I know firsthand the heartbreak that cancer can bring. I lost my own father to cancer, and over the years I’ve also lost other people I cared about to this disease. I’m honored to be skating in this benefit to help support cancer research and to honor those we’ve lost, as well as those who continue to fight.
