The Celebration Show was tons of fun last year! Can you find Emily and I in there? (I'm just on Snoopy's right paw side right before the end, Emily is 2 people down the line from me.). Check out this fun clip! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dJ8p6NTu5Rk&list=TLGGampYinoCN2syNzA4MjAyNA&t=9s

I'm raising funds again this year to support research and cancer patients! The issue of cancer treatment is especially close to my heart this year as I watch my long time friend Cati give every bit of her energy to fighting a rare and aggressive form of Breast Cancer. As I write this at the end of August, she is about a third of the way through a long and challenging course of Chemo, and it is TOUGH. She has already dealt with big surgeries and several rounds of dangerous complications. Her burdens seem especially unfair as she already has fought in this war twice before in her life, supporting her young son as he fought and WON a battle with Leukemia as a young child, and then 2 years ago supporting and losing her dear husband, and our long time friend, Doug. She is one strong woman! My hat is off to anyone waging the battle with Cancer. I know many of us have had to work through the process, or watch someone we love go through it.
While we are all impressed and thankful for the specialized treatments and science behind fighting cancer that is available to patients at this time, it become obvious that we need to keep working to support more research and the development of treatments that are even more effective, AND hopefully, less damaging to the patient. At this time, there is research working to develop treatments that target the cancer specifically, and are less damaging to the rest of the body. Scott Hamilton Cares foundation puts a big focus on supporting development of new treatments, and also offers some funding for cancer patient support.
Please consider if you can make a donation toward my fund raiser to support this wonderful organizations work! We need to get our fundraising money in by Oct. 18th!
Can you donate a $100? That's fabulous!! Can you donate $5? Also fabulous! Last year some of my donations came in from Cookie Sales at our skating classes at $1 or $2 a pop! Any donation is excellent and appreciated!
You can donate by clicking the Donate button on this web page, or if you are not computer savvy, you can send me a check and I'll enter the donation in your name.
We all get donation requests CONSTANTLY... I do understand if you can't take this on. If that's the case, feel free to share my fundraiser on social media...or just send Cati, and everyone who is fighting their own battle with Cancer your best energy!
TWO OTHER WAYS TO SUPPORT THIS CAUSE:
