Team Michelle
Please help us support cancer research by making a contribution to my fundraiser and sharing this page with your family and friends. Every dollar we raise funds advanced, innovative research through the Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation, as well as their healthcare partners. When we come together, we can make a difference!
Team Michelle was formed by the professional coaching staff and skating instructors at Snoopy’s Home Ice in memory of Michelle Grob Van Dyke. Michelle was a dear, beloved Snoopy’s Home Ice Coach, who touched many lives throughout her skating and coaching career. She was a wonderful friend to the coaches and a true inspiration to those who had the pleasure of crossing her path. Unfortunately, we lost Michelle at the young age of 44 after a long, courageous battle with breast cancer. She left behind two amazing children, whom she loved dearly, and countless students who continue to impact the world in a positive way following her inspiring example.
Please support Team Michelle by making a donation in honor of Michelle to Snoopy’s Home Ice Sk8 to Elimin8 Cancer 2024 event. This event taking place November 2 & 3 at Snoopy’s Home Ice and includes a Frozen 5K with the Peanuts Gang. Many of the coaches and instructors will be skating the 35 laps at Snoopy’s Home Ice in honor of Michelle, Sparky, and others we know that have been impacted by cancer. We would greatly appreciate your support in the form of a donation of any amount. You can also join in the fun by registering for the Frozen 5K, and skate with us!!
Everything raised through this event will support the Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation, which funds first-class research and quality care to improve cancer survivorship and quality of life for cancer patients. More specifically, a portion of the funds you can help us raise by making a donation, participating in the events, and sharing this page with your friends and family, will be used to fund innovative immunotherapy treatment for colorectal cancer at Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, where both Charles Schulz and Michelle were treated.
Other events include Sparky's Ice Spectacular hosted by Scott Hamilton on November 2. There will be amazing gust stars so be sure to find more information on the event page.
Thank you in advance for supporting Team Michelle, celebrating Sparky and honoring Michelle by donating to Snoopy’s Home Ice Sk8 to Elimin8 Cancer. As Scott Hamilton has said, together, we will Sk8 towards a better future for those diagnosed with cancer and turn cancer upside down!
