On November 27th, I will be participating in a Bronze League Pickup Hockey Game to benefit Sk8 to Elimin8. I will be competing against my friends and teamates to raise money for cancer research and treatment. Please help support The Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation by making a contribution and sharing this page with your family and friends. Every dollar we raise will advance The Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation's great cause!
If you aren't familiar with Sk8 to Eliminate, it is the fundraising event arm of CARES. CARES was started by Olympic Gold Medalist Scott Hamilton in 2014 with the goal to Turn Cancer Upside Down. The funds raised at these events (5K's, Figure Skating Shows, Hockey Tournaments) go to support innovative cancer research with the goal of eliminating the disease that has negatively impacted so many of our lives. In addition a portion of all revenues remain in the local community for cancer support service for those in need.
Cancer has touched us all. There is not one of us who has not lost someone to cancer. Fortunately many of us also know survivors. Please join in this effort to help Elimin8 caner and put more folks in the survivor category. I promise to skate my hardest and try not to embarrass myself playing hockey. Your part is easier... please give today.
Together, we can make a difference!
