Hello Friends!!

I started raising money for the Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation in 2016.
Since then I have raised over $22,000!! The money I’ve raised has helped fund research projects that help fight cancer. This foundation is very dear to my heart and raising money each year has become something I look forward to.

In past years I’ve skated laps for donations, painted pictures, sewn pillows and even made my mom skate a 5k. This year is going to be a little different. I will still offer to skate laps or do jumps etc but I won’t have time to make anything. You see, this is my senior year of high school and I’m putting any energy I have left off the ice into working and studying.

Sadly, this brings up my next point, since it is my senior year, this could be the last year that I will qualify to skate in the Scott Hamilton and Friends show at Bridgestone Arena. Top fundraisers get the opportunity to skate a number during the show to live music and meet some of our skating hero’s.

SO, with all that being said, I’d like to go out with a bang and raise as much money as possible for the cause that means the world to me. My goal is to raise $3000 so I will have raised a grand total of $25,000 in my 7 yrs. BUT….if we can go bigger, LET’S DO IT!!
