Cancer knows no boundaries, no gender, no age, no race. It touches every family and every community. In 2026 alone, more than 2.1 million Americans will hear the words “you have cancer,” a 3.5% increase from the year before. And 626,140 lives will be lost - that’s more than one person every minute. Behind every number is a face, a family, and a future forever changed. 

The Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation (CARES) is proud to present Sk8 to Elimin8 Cancer® Nashville!  Proceeds from this event will benefit the Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation and the Predators 365 Pediatric Cancer Fund presented by Twice Daily. 
 
 
Here's How You Can Get Involved
 
Participate and Fundraise 
1) Register for $35 to start fundraising and receive a Sk8 to Elimin8 Cancer® t-shirt!  You'll receive items for our incentive program as a token of our thanks for your fundraising efforts, and you can earn special Nashville-only incentives (to be announced) including opportunities to appear in a group number in Scott Hamilton & Friends at Bridgestone Arena!

2) Grow our community by asking your family and friends to sign up with you or donate to your page.  Post about our shared cause and invite others to join you on social media!  

3) Fundraise for cancer research!  You can earn special rewards and Ice Show performance incentives, to be announced. 

3) Celebrate with us at our On-Ice Celebration, details to be announced!

By donating to a Sk8 to Elimin8 Cancer® participant's fundraising goal, you are not only supporting them but providing crucial funding for the Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation's cancer research, and well as the Predators' 365 Pediatric Cancer Fund. 

The Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation is dedicated to changing the future of cancer by funding advanced, innovative research that treats the cancer while sparing the patient. CARES is an established as a 501(c)3 and a national identity in the cancer community.  CARES, which stands for Cancer Alliance for Research, Education, and Survivorship, is creating a cancer network built upon strong partnerships with leading institutions, cancer support groups, and researchers to improve the quality of life and provide better outcomes for those living with cancer. 

Founded by Predator's legends Pekka Rinne and former captain Shea Weber, The 365 Pediatric Cancer Fund presented by Twice Daily raises funds and awareness for the vital cancer research that takes place at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt while brightening the lives of the hospital’s young patients and their families by offering opportunities to meet members of the Predators team and experience the joy of hockey games in Smashville.
