Hello everyone! McKenna's Mom, Katie, here. As most of you know, skating is a huge part of McKenna's life. McKenna has been involved in the Scott Cares Foundation's "Sk8 to Elimin8 Cancer" the past two years (2022 & 2023). Who knew just less than 2 months after she skated in last year's show that cancer would directly impact our family when McKenna's littler sister, Cora (now 5 years old) would be diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in January, 2024. McKenna has been such a big supporter of her sister's fight. McKenna was very adamant about skating this year in honor of her sister. We know so many people have supported our family through this difficult time, but this is something you can do support McKenna and her fundraising efforts to make a difference.
