Join us and Turn Cancer Upside Down!
November 26, 2024 at Eddie Edgar Arena
November 26, 2024 at Eddie Edgar Arena
Cancer knows no bounds of gender, age, or race - it impacts everyone. This year it's estimated that a little more than 1.9 million new cancer cases will be diagnosed in the US alone, and 609,360 people will die. That's more than 1 person every minute dying because of this terrible disease.
The Livonia Figure Skating Club is proud to partner with the Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation (CARES)! Proceeds from our Annual Skate for a Cure Holiday Exhibition will support CARES' national cancer research and their Detroit healthcare partners, Karmanos Cancer Institute.
Here's How You Can Get Involved!
Participate and Fundraise
2) Fundraise for cancer research! Every dollar you raise supports critical cancer research through CARES and our healthcare partners, Karmanos Cancer Institute.
3) Celebrate with us at our ice show!
Support a Participant by Donating
When you donate to a participant's fundraising goal, you are not only supporting them but providing crucial funding for cancer research. The Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation funds cancer research at NCI-accredited facilities across the nation, and we are proud to work with our healthcare partners, to be announced.
Celebrate with Us!
Anyone can attend our celebration! All admissions and door donations will continue to support our fundraising efforts for cancer research.
