Boise, ID Sk8 to Elimin8 Cancer 2022

Join us for Sk8 to Elimin8 Cancer ™ Boise, Idaho  
hosted by the Boise Figure Skating Club
May 19th, 2022, from 6-8pm at Idaho Ice World
 

Cancer knows no bounds of gender, age, or race - it impacts everyone.  This year it's estimated that a little more than 1.9 million new cancer cases will be diagnosed in the US alone, and 609,360 people will die.  That's more than 1 person every minute dying because of this terrible disease.  

The Boise Figure Skating Club is proud to partner with the Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation (CARES) to present Sk8 to Elimin8 Cancer™ Boise, Idaho!  Proceeds from this event will support CARES' national cancer research grants, which this year support glioblastoma brain tumor research.
 

Here's How You Can Get Involved!
 
Participate and Fundraise
1) Register for $25 to start fundraising and receive your Sk8 to Elimin8 Cancer™ t-shirt.  You'll receive rewards as a token of our thanks for your fundraising efforts!  Additionally, the figure skater who raises the most will be invited to skate at intermission, and the hockey player who raises the most will skate the ceremonial first lap! 

2) Grow our community by asking your family and friends to sign up with you or donate to your page.  Post about why supporting cancer research matters to you and invite others to join you on social media!  

3) Fundraise for cancer research!  Every dollar you raise supports critical cancer research.

Support a Participant by Donating 
When you donate to a participant's fundraising goal, you are not only supporting them but providing crucial funding for cancer research.   The Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation funds cancer research grants at NCI-accredited facilities across the nation, this year focusing on glioblastoma brain tumor research. 

 
Celebrate with Us!
Anyone can attend our Frozen 5k!  All admissions and door donations will continue to support our fundraising efforts for cancer research.
