Cancer has affected a lot of people in my family, including my mom, both of my grandmas, and several members of my extended family. My family has faced both breast cancer and lung cancer, so supporting cancer research is very personal to me.

I'm combining something I love, figure skating, with a cause that means a lot to my family. I'll be skating laps to raise money and awareness for cancer research through the Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation.
