Steps to Stop Cancer Summer Challenge
Taking Steps Towards a Future Where Everyone Survives Cancer
 
 
Cancer knows no bounds of gender, age, or race - it impacts everyone.  An estimated 1.9 million people will be diagnosed with cancer in the US this year, and 609,360 people will die.  That's more than 1 person every minute dying because of this terrible disease.  

Join us and take steps towards a future where everyone survives cancer!  Challenge yourself to take a minimum of 5,000 steps every day in the month of July. Track your steps using a fitness tracker or your phone, and log them on your personal fundraising page, and invite your friends and family to show their support by donating or signing up for the challenge with you!  Share your progress and how cancer has impacted your life in our Facebook Community.

Proceeds from this event support the Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation and our 2022 research funding focus on Glioblastoma brain tumors.

Then, raise funds for cancer research by asking your friends and family to register with you or donate.  Set a fundraising goal and earn Achievement Badges on your webpage for your philanthropy.  Raise $300 or more to claim your CARES swag gift!  Log your steps for the month of July on your fundraising webpage to earn a special bonus gift from CARES!  Celebrate with us virtually by sharing your progress and photos with us in our Facebook Community.

By donating to a participant's fundraising goal, you are not only supporting them but providing crucial research funding for the Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation.  This year, your donation will support research into less invasive, life-saving treatments for Glioblastoma brain tumors.
