"As an organization, we are immensely fortunate to be involved in the incredible sport of synchronized skating. Our skaters, coaches and families are very grateful for all the amazing competitive and travel experiences we have together. Additionally, finding meaningful ways to give back to our community is also very important.
Supporting the Scott Hamilton Cares Foundation is a wonderful opportunity for our organization. Participating in the Skate 5K fundraising event, with some of the money raised going to The University of Minnesota Children's Hospital, is very exciting.
Most everyone is at some point impacted by the challenges and heartache of cancer. For me, having one parent as a cancer survivor and another parent currently going through cancer treatment, this fundraising event is super meaningful. I know that our organization is very proud to be involved.
