The Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation has done excellent work in investing in innovative and advanced cancer research. But the fight isn't over!

For this year's Sk8 to Elimin8, a portion of the money raised will benefit a close to home cause. The Merrill Oncology Center Travel Fund at Adirondack Health provides assistance with the cost of traveling for cancer treatment to local patients that must get care far from home.

Because the event is virtual, you can participate anywhere and anyway! Snowshoe, cross country ski, run, walk, skate as long as you do 5 kilometers you're alright!
