Peddling for Chip - Erase the Trace 2022
Peddling For Chip
Peddling for Chip
As you may know, I lost my husband, Chip to Glioblastoma (fancy way of saying deadly brain cancer) in 2019 after an 18 month fight. Chip was strong, faith filled and never complained about his circumstances. He walked through his illness with love and gratitude for every moment of life.
Chip was my caring companion before his diagnosis. Diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2015, he provided his undivided love and support. In 2018 we became a “cancer couple.”
Please help me support Glioblastoma and ovarian cancer research by making a contribution to my Erase the Trace fundraiser and sharing this page with your family and friends. Erase the Trace was conceived by Scott Williams, who was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme in 2019. It's now Scott's goal to bike all 444 miles of the Natchez Trace and shine a light of hope for all those impacted by cancer and Glioblastoma, arguably the deadliest type of cancer. I WILL BE A VIRTUAL RIDER, BIKING THE STREETS OF THE VILLAGES FLORDA AS WELL AS ON A PELOTON. IF YOU SEE ME BIKING, WAVE SHOUT OR BETTER HOP ON YOUR BIKE AND JOIN ME!
MAY IS BRAIN CANCER AWARENESS MONTH. I PLAN TO FINISH MY 444 miles on or before May 31
Every dollar I raise funds advanced, innovative research through the Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation. When we come together, we can make a difference!
