Hello! Lily and I are participating in the Birmingham Figure Skating Club's 2026 Frozen 5K Fundraiser to support cancer research. Every dollar we raise from generous contributions from friends and family helps to fund advanced, innovative research through the Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation, as well as their healthcare partners.
Lily got to meet Scott Hamilton four years ago at a competition and he is truly remarkable in every way. As many of you know, he is an iconic figure skating personality who is a cancer survivor himself. He has dedicated his star power and epic energy to fund cancer research. Famous for his backflips on the ice, his moto is: "Let's turn cancer upside down!" Please contribute as you can! Every lap around the rink we'll ring a bell to honor and shout out the names of those we know or who you know who are impacted by cancer. Thank you so much!
