Join us for Sk8 to Elimin8 Cancer ™ Alaska
September 9 & 10, 2022, at the MAC Center in Eagle River, AK

Cancer knows no bounds of gender, age, or race - it impacts everyone.  This year it's estimated that a little more than 1.9 million new cancer cases will be diagnosed in the US alone, and 609,360 people will die.  That's more than 1 person every minute dying because of this terrible disease.

The Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation (CARES) is proud to present the second annual Sk8 to Elimin8 Cancer™ Alaska!  Proceeds from this event will support CARES' national cancer research and our healthcare partners at The Children's Hospital at Providence.

Here's How You Can Get Involved!

Participate and Fundraise
1) Register for $25 to start fundraising!  You'll receive a Sk8 to Elimin8 Cancer t-shirt and admission to our Frozen 5k on September 9, 2022. You'll receive rewards as a token of our thanks for your fundraising efforts, and you can earn special Alaska-only incentives including opportunities to perform in our Evening with the Stars ice show!

2) Raise funds for cancer research by asking your network to donate.  Set a goal to earn rewards through your philanthropy.  Every dollar you raise supports critical cancer research through CARES and our healthcare partners at The Children's Hospital at Providence.

3) Celebrate with us at our supporting events!  For event by event details, see below.

Support a Participant by Donating
When you donate to a participant's fundraising goal, you are not only supporting them but providing crucial cancer research funding for the Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation and The Children's Hospital at Providence.

Anyone can attend our celebrations!  All admissions and door donations will continue to support our fundraising efforts for cancer research.
