Thank you for taking the time to read this!  As many of you know, cancer is extremely personal to my family.  Since I was 3 years old, I have watched my mother battle through two different cancers and the many side effects that come with cancer treatment.  Last year, I watched my grandfather battle and beat cancer and could not be prouder of him.  In addition, I have a pretty fantastic coach that has battled cancer and won!  This year I want to do all that I can to support the Sk8 to Elimin8 Cancer program.  Every year when I skate, I include a ribbon somewhere on my costume to honor those who I know that have battled cancer.  This year if you want to make a donation to honor someone, send me a message or leave a comment on my donation page and I will include their name on a bracelet that I will wear on the night of the 5k.
