How do I find a participant's personal fundraising webpage?
On the Event Campaign's page, click in the search bar where it says "Find a Participant" and begin typing the first or last name. Your options will display as you type.
Can I make a donation to a team?
Yes. You can make a donation to a participant on a team, to the team as a whole, or to the event in general.
Who should I make a check out to and where do I send it?
Please make all checks payable to: Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation. In the memo line, please indicate the campaign name/location and what participant/team the donations should be credited to (ex: Susie Smith in Lincoln, Nebraska). Please be mindful that we cannot split checks across multiple participants.

What happens if I check the checkbox to "cover processing fees"?
By covering processing fees, you help ensure the Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation incurs fewer fees and expenses which enables us to give more to fund cancer research. Please note that our credit card processor is NeonPay and you will see this vendor name in your credit card statement.
Are donations tax-deductible? What is your Tax ID number?
Your contribution is deductible to the extent permitted by Federal law.

Do all donors receive a receipt?
All donations made online via credit card will receive an emailed transaction receipt.
Donations made by check or credit card in an amount greater than $100.00 will receive a mailed tax acknowledgement letter from our Foundation.

Can I mail in a cash donation?

How quickly can I expect an online donation to post to my page?
Any donation made online via a credit card should post immediately. If your donation does not post within 5 minutes, please contact The Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation.

A donor is requesting a Tax ID number; what is that and how can I get it?

Not all of my donors are showing up in the "Recent Donations" section of my page. Why?
As your donors make a contribution, they have the option of whether or not they want their name to appear or if they'd like to be listed as "Anonymous."
Where can I find a list of the people who have donated to me?
Log in to your participant Dashboard and select the Reports menu. You will then find a list of all of your donors as well as a list of all donors to your team.
How can I send a thank you email to my donors?
To easily send personalized thank-you emails to donors, follow these steps:
Log in to your fundraiser dashboard by clicking the "My HQ" link in the top right
Click "My Fundraising Report" in the left sidebar
Locate the donor/donation you'd like to thank, and click "Send Email" (If the donor didn't submit their email address, this option is unavailable.)
Type the message in the pop-up window, and click "Send Email"
