On September 11, 2019, Scott Williams was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme, arguably the deadliest type of cancer and a disease with no known cause and no known cure. It's now Scott's goal to bike all 444 miles of the Natchez Trace and shine a light of hope for all those impacted by cancer and GBM.
"I have been blessed by countless people who have cared for my wife and me emotionally and financially. So while I’m still able, I want to bless others who find themselves struggling with brain cancer, especially GBM.
I grew up not far from the Natchez Trace in Jackson, Mississippi, and have long wanted to cycle the entire 444 miles of the historic parkway. I am confident that I have the stamina and resolve to complete the ride, raising funds for critical cancer research and awareness for Glioblastoma Multiforme."
