Before I was born, my grandmother was diagnosed with a type of brain cancer known as Glioma. My dad always told me wonderful stories about her and showed me all of her pictures and recipes. She seemed like such an amazing person. Unfortunately, she passed away before I was born so I was never able to meet her and get to know her. Cancer has taken the lives of so many people and has deeply affected families all across the world. As someone who has had a family member affected by cancer, I believe that finding a cure for cancer would not only save lives but also prevent these tragedies from happening to other families.
