Dear Friends and Family,
I have been given another opportunity to participate in Sk8 To Elimin8 Cancer with Scott Hamilton’s Care Foundation.
4 years ago I raised funds and skated in honor of 5 people with cancer who are/were a part of my life. While I continue to honor them, this year I am also a part of Team Cleo. I met Cleo at the first CARES Foundation fundraiser at Skating Club Of Boston in 2017. She was a fellow skater who later passed away from Ewing's Sarcoma, a type of cancer that grows in and around the bones and affects children and teens. A challenging diagnosis for any teen, but even more heartbreaking for an ice skater.
