I'm Sk8-ing to Elimin8 Cancer!

On December 4, many of my club-mates and I at Skating Club of Boston will skate a 5K to raise essential money for cancer and the Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation.

Cancer has affected so many of us. Personally, I never met one of my grandparents because of pancreatic cancer. And three of my other grandparents who are still living battled cancer and are survivors -- one with breast cancer and two with skin cancer. Friends and loved ones have also battled cancer or are currently going through treatment.

Your families too have been affected by cancer, I am sure.
